4/20/77: Winfield Stars as Chester Springs Nicks Lionville, 3-2

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams
It turned my stomach to watch Winfield steal 2nd and 3rd in succession in the 8th and then score the winning run on a sac. fly by that perpetual thorn in our side, Royster. And Reitz failing to get the bat off his shoulder with the tying run on 2nd in the 9th … what was that? Lefty pitched well enough to win, but we're just having a devil of a time at the plate with runners in scoring position. Plus, we grounded into 3 double plays. I'm not sure if I should keep tinkering around the edges or really shuffle the lineup - maybe even put Bull out in the field. Gonna sleep on it - if I can. I hope Swan can get us out of here with a win tomorrow.
