5/9/76: Lionville Outduels Chester Springs, 3-1

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
Fine game hurled by Hooton. He was in control all the way. Heck, he even picked Monday off first after he had gotten the 1st hit for them in the 4th. That'll teach Monday. That mix-up with the lineup card was embarrassing, though. I must have been thinking about Mom. Why didn't Bull ask me, "Skip, are you sure you want me to play first"? The guys didn't let it bother them. Nothing much is bothering them these days.

5/8/76: Lionville Shocks Chester Springs, 10-7, in 12

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
Great, great game! We really hung in there, stayed positive and patient at the plate (11 walks), and chipped away. Eddie's 1st bomb was timely as hell! And the bullpen was spectacular! I even got away with neglecting to pinch run for Hozay. The way he stormed home for that tying run in the 8th was a sight to behold!

5/7/76: Lionville Defeats Chester Springs, 5-2

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
Jump on 'em early and often - that's the way to do it. Leon Roberts! Well, seems he just wanted to be slotted higher up in the batting order. And maybe he prefers to DH. At any rate, great to see him bust out. Too bad Lefty ran out of gas in the 9th, but he pitched really well. Reed gave up the hit to Monday that lost the shutout, but he bounced back and did his job.
