Ken Henderson had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Elverson Squires (9-11) topped
the Guthriesville Golddiggers (6-13) by a score of 4-0 at Hopewell Field.
 
Elverson took the lead for keeps in the 2nd inning scoring 2 runners on 3
hits.  That early scoring held up.  Neither team managed to score after the
3rd inning.  
 
The win was credited to Jim Barr(3-2) who went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing no
runs. Elias Sosa got the save, his 2nd.  The losing pitcher was Larry
Christenson(0-2).
