Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
We left 11 guys on - but at least we got 'em on. For this day that's how I'm telling myself to look at it. Joe, Simba, and Bull continue to swing hot bats. Carlton was average. For him that's lousy, if you know what I mean. Nice job by Leon and Reed to hold the lead and ensure win #5 for Lefty.

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
Crazy, crazy game. Very entertaining. The tone was set in the bottom of the 1st when Hooton plunked Rose and Parker and then served up a gopher ball to Driessen. Rip, goes a chunk of my hair. We come back strong with a 4-spot in the 3rd to make it a new ballgame. The 6th was a nightmare. In the top half of the inning we have 2nd and 3rd with nobody out and fail to score. Dawson gets picked off to end that threat. And then in the bottom half Joe Nolan - who the heck is he - puts them back up by 2 with a 2-out bomb. Hooton, you're going to have me shopping for a toup. But then Bull makes everything right. And Cornutt gets the win for throwing all of 3 pitches. Like I said … crazy. I'll take 'em crazy, ugly, whatever. They all count the same in the win column.
