Chip Lang pitched 5 strong innings as the Eagle Eagles defeated the Devault
Dynamiters in 19 innings 4-3 at Hickory Park.
 
The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings.  Eagle won it in the 19th
inning.  George Foster tripled.  After an out was recorded, Manny Sanguillen
stepped in and he laced a base-knock giving Eagle the victory as 457 happy
fans celebrated wildly.  Both teams ended up with 14 hits on the night.
 
Lang(6-2) went 5 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Joe Kerrigan(1-3)
was given the loss in relief.  He gave up 1 run and 2 hits in 2 and 1/3
innings.
