9/29/76: Honey Brook Pulls Away from Lionville, 10-4

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:

We almost come back from down 4-0. Bull homers again in the 6th. Joe homers in the 8th - his first bomb in weeks - to make it 4-3. Then Helms very nearly hits one out of the park. Martin has a running start from first but gets thrown out at the plate by Geronimo on a very close play. That would have tied it. Then it all goes down the drain in the bottom half of the inning. Randy runs out of gas. Leon is wild. Taylor throws a wild pitch and gives up 2 hits. All the sudden we're out of it at 10-3. Gotta put this one behind us. We go to Elverson for four to close it out and those guys are still playing well. They have 6th place within reach. How about we deny them?
