10/3/76: Elverson Flattens Lionville, 9-1

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:

I wanted Ron Reed to get a chance to get in another ballgame, but I guess he wasn't ready. In fairness to him, Joe throwing the ball away on Garvey's hit really hurt. If not for that I think Ron could have wriggled out of the jam with minimal damage. It's a shame too because I'm pretty sure he came into the game with an ERA under 2 and no doubt wanted to keep it there. Not the best way to end the season, but it was a great ride. These guys did everything I asked and more.
