We're a different team without Morgan. He had personal business to take care of tonight. He was due for a night off anyway, but it would have been nice to have had him available to pinch-hit. Add Randy's ineffectiveness to Joe's absence and it's a recipe for a loss. I don't know what was wrong with Randy tonight but he had nothing. When Pepe Mangual - Pepe Mangual! - homers off you, that was the last straw. I had to lift him. Willie Davis, taking Joe's leadoff spot, was one of our few bright spots with his 8th triple and first bomb. At least Eagle did us the favor of knocking off Marshallton again. We're ready for you, Eagles.
