6/27/76: Glenmoore Sweeps Lionville, 4-3, in 13

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:

A 3-game losing streak. Well, it's a long season, and there's bound to be bumps in the road. This was a tough one, though. I felt bad for Taylor who had maybe his best performance of an up-and-down season. We should have won it for him in the 12th, but with the bases loaded I didn't feel like I could send up Wynn or Simba for Martin because it would have left me without a right fielder. I should have done it anyway. Bottom line: When you can't score in the last 10 innings you always lose. It's simple math. This was a tough series - our first series loss since May 18-20 - but we have to keep our heads up. I remember how we lost 6 of 10 early in the season but then went on a rampage with 43 wins in our next 54 games. We need another period of sustained excellence like that. My confidence in our guys is unshaken.
