5/21/77: Lionville Rallies with 4 in 9th to Stun Guthriesville, 5-4

Sure looks good to see more "W"s than "L"s. What a finish! Reitz singles, Dawson singles, and Ott delivers a pinch single to score Reitz. Carroll comes in and Gonzalez greets him with a base hit to score Dawson. Johnson files out but Joe walks on 4 pitches to load 'em up. You could see Carroll melting down. Clines takes strike one and then takes 4 balls - only one of them even close - to bring home Ott. Tie game. This is when I knew we had it. Simba hits a seeing-eye ball that bounces past a diving Rockett and Gonzalez dances across. Standing room only, and it was bedlam! Let this mark the start of a big run. Special praise for Collins and Leon for not letting it get out of hand.
