5/28/77: Kison Pitches Lionville to 3-1 Victory Over Guthriesville

5 in a row! Simba and Kenny Reitz continue to carry us on offense. But this afternoon Simba shined with his defense. Of the 5 would-be base stealers he tried to nab, he got 4. And he held on to the ball when Cedeno crashed into him trying to score on Thomas' squeeze bunt in the 7th. Kison pitched quite well and showed no ill effects from the soreness that caused him to leave the game very early against Glenmoore Tuesday. Last night's relief plan with Schatzeder and Sambito worked so well I went for a repeat. And again it worked a treat!
