Wynn did some more run producing tonight and - unlike Sunday - the runs he produced spurred us to victory. His 2-run base hit in the 7th broke open a scoreless game. Hozay's 3-run blast the next inning enabled us to breathe easier. Hooton was very good and likely would have been able to get the shutout had not Joe made a poor throw on Parker's grounder to lead off the 9th. That broke Burt's concentration and he gave up a triple to the next batter, Driessen. It wasn't a good night for Joe - 0-for-5 at the plate - but with so many great games under his belt this season I guess he's entitled to have a clinker every so often.
