6/24/76: Lionville Shuts Out Guthriesville, 2-0

Marvelously pitched game by Kison - a 4-hitter. He kept his cool while it took the offense awhile to get untracked. Finally in the 6th, Leonnn gets the big hit, with the Bull charging home from second and easily beating the throw from the strong-armed Cedeno. What a sight! Without needing any help from the bullpen, we sweep the Golddiggers and while doing so give up only 3 runs in 27 innings - tremendous way to end a long home stand. And to make it even better Marshallton gets beat by the same score we won by. Now we go on the road - 4 villages, 11 games. Gotta keep this band playin'!
