In a game at The Nest the Honey Brook Beekeepers got by the Glenmoore
Stableboys 4-1.
 
Honey Brook took the lead for keeps in the bottom of the 2nd inning when they
came up with 2 runs on 1 hit.  That was all the offense they were to need.
Honey Brook finished with 8 hits in the victory.  
 
The victory went to Ray Burris(7-7) who went 6 and 1/3 innings, allowing 1
run. Burris got help from Tug McGraw who was credited with his 3rd save.
Floyd Bannister(4-9) was charged with the loss.

Ed Halicki blanked Lionville allowing just 2 hits as the Elverson Squires
bested the Lionville ballclub 3-0 at French Creek Park.
 
Halicki(8-7) escaped virtually unscathed against the Lionville hitters.  He
didn't allow much, just 2 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings lowering his ERA from
3.90 to 3.64.  Elverson had a total of 7 hits for the game.  
 
Bruce Kison(5-6) suffered the loss.  He surrendered 7 hits and no walks in 6
and 1/3 innings.
