7/4/77: Koosman Outduels Hooton as Honey Brook Nips Lionville, 1-0, in 10

What a beautifully pitched game. Koosman was just a little bit more beautiful than Hooton. Too bad for Burt - pitch that well and you're going to get a win 99% of the time. Koosman was just untouchable. And then Johnson provided the fireworks on Hooton's 3rd pitch of the extra frame. Dawson just missed hitting it out in the 1st. I thought for sure it was gone. But it died in flight and Baker was able to get to it. Had it gone out I'll bet Hooton would have ended up with a 2-0 shutout win.
