7/3/77: Lionville Downs Marshallton, 9-3 Behind Kranepool, Reitz

Now we're finally starting to get some timely hitting. The big blows were the 3-run dinger by Kranepool in the 4th and the bases-clearing double by Reitz in the 8th. Ed really got around pretty fast for an older guy on that double. Nice pitching by Randy. He wanted to go back out for the 9th but I thought he was tired. There was a weird misunderstanding that resulted in Knight starting the game in left field. (I meant him to DH.) That's why some of the guys call me "The Great Communicator". I've gotta work on that.
