Dave Freisleben(4-10) suffered the loss. Kimberton scored big getting 5 runs
off him in 2 and 1/3 innings. It was another victory for Kimberton at
Kimberton Fairground. Now their winning streak stands at 6 games. Rich
Pawlak was in a great frame of mind in the clubhouse after the game,
'Everybody's contributing now. Timely hitting, some slick fielding plays and
good pitching when we need it. Man, when that's happening, this sure is an
easy job!'

the Marshallton Mad Hatters defeated the Devault Dynamiters 8-1 at Great
Valley Stadium.

Marshallton had 5 runs cross the plate in the top of the 6th inning with the
help of 3 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Ron Cey who quieted the
crowd when he doubled plating three runs. Marshallton banged out 8 hits on
the night.

The victory was credited to Nolan(11-8) who went the distance, allowing 1 run.
Joaquin Andujar(5-10) was the losing pitcher. He was the victim of a
defensive lapse and did not allow an earned run in the game.

Pete Rose provided much of the offense. He slapped a base-hit in the 1st
inning, smacked a three-run homer in the 2nd inning and lined a single which
plated a run in the 8th inning. It was roller coaster of a game as the lead
change hands 5 times.

Moffitt recorded his 29th save. Larry Dierker(6-11) took the loss. He was

Stableboys 7-3 at Bentley Stadium.

Wynn had a big day with his bat. He doubled in the 1st inning, clubbed a solo

inning. Lionville ended up with 12 hits for the game while Glenmoore had 9.

Montefusco(13-9) was given the loss. Lionville knocked him around a bit, as
he gave up 7 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings.

Carlton didn't realize how many strikeouts he was racking up. When told he
had 10 he was obviously surprised, 'No kidding? Man, I knew that I had a
decent total, but I didn't think I had K'd that many. Say, that's pretty
good, isn't it?'
