Kenny Reitz is the most clutch .199 hitter in the league. I thought about a pinch-hitter but Kenny came through in a similar situation last month, and I thought he might do it again. He did! Great pinch double by Jerry Morales to set things up. It's hard to pinch-hit for Willie Davis, but I played the percentages - plus, Jerry has been hot lately. Sambito was wonderful. Good thing we didn't need extra innings, though. Sambito was gassed after 34 pitches and I had a bunch of tired arms sitting in the pen. Joe Morgan is unstoppable!
