Steve Rogers came through with a solid 8 innings as the Guthriesville
Golddiggers defeated the Glenmoore Stableboys by a score of 3 to 1 at Bentley
Stadium.
 
Rogers(13-7) pitched a solid game.  He gave up just 4 hits and 1 walk in 8
innings.  Neither team was able to score until the 7th inning.  
 
Clay Carroll earned his 3rd save.  Bob Owchinko(4-8) was the losing pitcher.
He pitched 6 innings and surrendered just 1 hit and 2 walks.

Rick Reuschel pitched a complete game as the Eagle Eagles bested the Lionville
team 7 to 1 at Foster Field.
 
In the 5th inning Eagle scored 5 runs when they had 6 base hits.  The critical
plate appearance was by Dave Roberts who silenced the crowd when he doubled
scoring two baserunners.  Eagle finished with 12 hits in the victory.
 
Reuschel(8-5) allowed 1 run on the game. Craig Swan(4-7) took the loss. Eagle
knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 5 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings.
