8/18/77: Lionville Dumps Marshallton, 3-1, as Carlton Wins 14th

Not much offense after the 1st but what we got then was enough. Lefty struggled with his control, but he went the distance, and played the role of the stopper we count on him to be. It's sure great to have him back in the rotation and wanting as many innings as I can give him. His ERA finally ticks below 4. Back to that 1st: What a blast by Dawson, and then the next batter - Bull - what a sight to see him circle the bases on Richards' bad boot.
