Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
Just in case we thought we were invincible ...
For posterior - I mean posterity - here's how the disastrous bottom of the 9th unfolded:
- Hooton with a 9-3 lead wants to try to finish.
- Dyer singles.
- Summers grounds to Boswell. He boots it. Hooton convinces me to let him stay in.
- Cabell singles to load 'em up. Leon comes on.
- Rosello walks - 9-4.
- Leon walks Brock on 4 pitches - 9-5. This is when I started to feel we could blow it. I bring in Reed.
- Scott brings in Tolan to pinch-hit for Lopes. Tolan belts Reed's first pitch over the fence in left-center - tie game.
- Cedeno doubles. This is when I became convinced we would blow it.
- Murcer flies out to deep right. Cedeno tags and runs to third.
- Hernandez swats one way over Willie Davis' head to score Cedeno. Lights out (even though this was a day game).

Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
Took us awhile to get to Rogers. Bull and Kranepool set the table for Hozay Morales who delivered a huge 2-run pinch double to put us ahead to stay. Aggressive baserunning by Speier in the next inning led to a pair of insurance runs. How about Morgan? Another homer! Kison pitched pretty well. He just couldn't get Brock out. Nice work by Sambito and Sanders out of the pen. We're playing with a lot of confidence - great to see.
