6/7/77: Kison Excels as Lionville Squeezes by Devault, 1-0
Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
A nailbiter gets us back in the win column. Again we kept getting runners in scoring position - and then stranding them. Thankfully it didn't hurt us tonight. Kison was great! Reed fanning Robinson with Russell on 2nd to end it was huge. Especially after I thought Burroughs right before that had grounded into a game-ending double play to Reitz. Frank missed that call in my opinion; he's getting up there so I showed respect for my elders and didn't hassle him much.

6/5/77: Eagle Vanquishes Lionville, 8-5, in 10 as Foster Homers Twice
Tiger-Cats manager Jon Brams:
6 steals, no win. Foster is frightening. Leon had by far his best start, but we didn't give him enough support. Dem' extra inning blues. We're 3-7 in extra inning games. We have a quality 'pen (although you wouldn't know it today), but I wish it were deeper. Those big bats of Eagle really got to Collins in the 10th, but it was Speier's error that opened the floodgates.
